![]() Kimball Health Services and Wyoming Health Fairs annually offers low cost blood testing to the public at the Kimball Community Health Fair. Call (308) 235-1967 for the next available date. ![]() Through a drug free community grant given to the Nebraska Panhandle, funding is available to assist in preventing underage drinking and associated problems in Kimball County. In order to receive these funds, a community group must be formed to plan activities to help prevent underage drinking and associated problems. ![]() Cough Safe! Did you know that many diseases are spread by poor coughing and sneezing techniques? Most people put their hands in front of their mouths and noses to stop germs from getting into the air. Unfortunately, this technique puts the germs on their hands. Click on the Cough Safe! link to see information on the safest way to cough. Be sure to click on the "Watch Video" link! Programs Robin Tjosvold, RN is our care transitions coordinator and community health nurse. She is available for Diabetes education, smoking cessation, and blood pressure screenings. She also coordinates health fairs and blood draws held in the fall and spring of each year. Flu Clinics This department also coordinates the public flu shot clinics. Low-cost influenza immunization clinics are offered every fall throughout the Kimball-Banner counties. Payment by cash or Medicare billing only. Children ages 12-18 may receive an immunization if accompanied by a parent or guardian. We recommend younger children see their physician. (Clinics dependent upon vaccine delivery.) Visit the Panhandle Public Health District's site for more information on available programs. Children's Outreach Kimball Health Services participates in the Children's Outreach Program in conjunction with twelve other area healthcare agencies. This program serves Western Nebraska's children and their families.
