When Kimball County is under a severe weather watch or warning, here's a list of services that will be available at KHS, depending on the severity of the situation. LEVEL 1 - NORMAL All emergency and outpatient services remain fully operational.All staff report to work as scheduled. LEVEL 2 - ADVISORY All emergency and in-house outpatient services remain fully operational. Some mobile services/visiting doctor clinics may be rescheduled. Patients will be notified if rescheduling is necessary.All staff report to work as scheduled. LEVEL 3 - ALERT In-house outpatient services may be limited. Some outpatient services may be rescheduled due to weather/road conditions. Patients will be notified if rescheduling is necessary.All staff report for work as scheduled. LEVEL 4 - WARNING Hospital may open late for normal outpatient operations.Staff will be notified if late start. The time will be determined based on weather conditions. Non-essential personnel will report to work at time determined in late start announcement. Nursing and on-call staff will contact Department Head to ensure adequate staffing. LEVEL 5 - EMERGENCY All outpatient services suspended. Only emergency services available. Patients will be notified to reschedule appointmentss when hospital outpatient services resume.Non-essential personnel are not required to report to work.
