The Education Department at KHS

Since 2002 this department has served the staff's health education needs. Currently there are several staff members fulfilling duties in the areas of staff development and patient education. The department is a resource to staff and management for all education related needs.

Kimball Health Services utilizes an online learning center to meet the regulatory education needs of our staff. Some additional credit courses are offered to our employees through our association with the Rural Nebraska Healthcare Network. These courses include but are not limited to Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Trauma Nurse Core Course.

The hospital is connected to the Nebraska State Telehealth Network for administrative and training purposes. Through this distance learning connection, our staff has the option of participating in videoconference educational opportunities offered throughout Nebraska.
