Serving our little corner of the world with outstanding care to our patients is the main goal of the nursing staff at KHS. As a Critical Access Hospital, we have the capacity for 20 staffed beds, including one negative pressure room. Nurses at KHS practice multiple skills in many areas. An average day may include caring for inpatients, those here for outpatient procedures and also our Emergency room. The nurses station and patient unit area were newly constructed and renovated in 2000-2001. Our staff includes Registered Nurses, Paramedic Nurse Extenders, Licensed Practical Nurses, Nurses Aides and staff unit clerks. |
