Wellness is. . . A Lifestyle

Community Flu Clinics
Kimball Health Services annually immunizes over 400 people in a few short hours at our community flu clinics. These clinics, often held at the Kimball Health Services North Campus, often feature drive-through immunizations and walk-in service.
The Centers for Disease Control and prevention say October and November are the best months to get the flu vaccine, but it can be given through December as well. Flu season runs October through May. Those encouraged to get the vaccine include children over 6 months, those over 50 years old, pregnant women, and those with chronic medical conditions.

Community Health Fairs
The Kimball Community Health Fair regularly draws a crowd of over 400 community members who are taking charge of their own health. KHS partners with with Wyoming Health Fairs to offer 31-test blood chemistry screenings. The low-cost blood testing included checks for cholesterol, diabetes and men's prostate cancer.
The next Kimball Community Health Fair is tentatively scheduled for October 23 and 24, 7 to 11 a.m. at the KHS North Campus.
People can expect to see their test results in the mail within 10 to 12 business days.
Free blood pressure checks and health assessments are normally offered. Bone Density Screenings for osteoporosis with the hospital's new in-house DEXA scanner are available at a greatly reduced cost.
